Hint: Total number of packets given in the question is 6 with 54 rusks in each one of them. So, the total number of rusks can be calculated by using the Concept of multiplication.

Formula Used:
Total no. of Rusks= No. of rusks in 1 packet $ \times $ Total No. of packets

Complete step by step answer:
Given: No. of rusks in a packet = 54 and Total no. of packets=6………………… (I)
So, the total no. of rusk can be determined by multiplying no. of rusk in 1 packet to the total no. of packet.
$\therefore $ Total no. of rusks =No. of rusks in 1 packet $ \times $ Total no. of packets
Putting the values from (i), we have
Total no. of rusks = 54$ \times $6
$\Rightarrow $Total no. of rusks =324

Therefore, Usha has a total of 324 rusks.

Note:
This is the simplest example of ‘Unitary Method’. Unitary Method is a technique of solving a problem by first finding the value of a single unit, and then finding the necessary value by multiplying the single unit value.
