Considered as a show-stopper, Amuktamalyada depicts the account of the wedding of the Hindu Lord Ranganayaka, a symbol of Vishnu and Goda Devi otherwise known as Andal the Tamil Alvar artist and little girl of Periyalvar, at Srirangam.

Amuktamalyada depicts the agony of partition (viraha) experienced by Andal, who is portrayed as the manifestation of Lakshmi the partner of Vishnu. Further the sonnet portrays Andal's magnificence in 30 refrains written in the keśādi-pādam style, beginning from her hair, going down her body till her feet. This book has been converted into Marathi and Hindi by Vyankatesh Devanpalli.
