AB - In AB blood group antigen A and B is present and no antibody is present. So it can take A,B,AB and O. So AB is called a universal receiver.
O - O blood group contains both A and B antibodies but has no antibody. Thus O can not take any other blood group except O. So O blood group is called universal donor.
