The term “ Chowmahal” means four palaces. The construction of the palace started in 1750 and was completed in the 1880s. The palace has earned the National Tourism Award for the best maintained and differently abled friendly monument of 2017. The owner of the palace is Muharram Jah. His original name is Sahebzada Mir Barkat Ali Khan Siddiqui Mukarram Jah.
