Hint: The range lies in Andhra Pradesh. A good knowledge of Indian Geography can easily help one to eliminate the incorrect options.

Complete answer:
Kadapa (formerly known as Cuddapah) city is located in the southern Andhra Pradesh state of India.
1. This is the correct option as the Kadapa Range lies between Palkonda Range and Godavari River in Andhra Pradesh. Another range in its close vicinity is the Nallamala hills.
2. This option is partially correct as the River Godavari is surely located in Andhra Pradesh but the city of Jamshedpur isn’t located in the same state. The concerned range Kadapa is in Andhra Pradesh while Jamshedpur is a city in the state of Jharkhand. Thus, this option is incorrect.
3. This is an incorrect choice because the River Kaveri doesn’t flow in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It flows through two states- Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Also, Palar is a river that flows through Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh before draining its water in the Bay of Bengal.
4. It isn’t the right choice as the Satpura range is a central India range running through Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. It isn’t even a part of Andhra Pradesh therefore the Kadapa range can’t be a part of it. Also, Maikal Hills are a segment of the Satpuras in Chhattisgarh.
Therefore the answer is 1. Godavari and Palkonda Range

Note:
Kadapa city is located 5 miles (8 km) south of the Penneru River and is surrounded by the Nallamalai and Palkonda hills on three sides. The city’s name is derived from the Telugu word kadapa or gadapa (“gate”) because it is the gateway from the north to the holy hill pagoda of the Hindu God Venkateshvara at Tirupati. The British called it Cuddapah in the early 19th century but it regained its former name in 2005.
