Hint: The Hindustan Socialist Republican Association was previously known as the Hindustan Republic Association(HRA).The Manifesto of the HRA which was known as ‘The Revolutionary’ was produced as evidence during the Kakori Conspiracy case.

Complete answer: The Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA) was founded in 1924 by Chandra Sekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Sachindra Nath Sanyal. Therefore the answer is all of the above. After the Chauri Chaura movement, Mahatma Gandhi suspended the movement in 1920.This led to wide scale protests among the Indians. Many revolutionaries became more radical in their attempt to overthrow the British. The name change occurred due to the influence of Bhagat Singh. The HSRA were moving more towards the ideologies that were influenced by Marxism.
The Kakori Conspiracy case led to the formulation of several revolutionary groups in Bihar, Bengal and Punjab. These groups along with the HRA met in Feroz Shah kotla. From this the HSRA was created.Bhagwati Charan Vohra wrote the manifesto for the new party which was called the ‘Philosophy of the Bomb’. The HSRA undertook several revolutionary activities which included bombing of the train in which Viceroy Irwin was travelling. The Lahore faction broke away and formed the Atishi Chakar which meant ‘The Ring of Fire’ under the leadership of Hansraj.

Option E, All of the above is correct.

Note: The HSRA declined by 1931. This was because the majority of the leaders had either been killed or jailed. In a fight with the police,Chandra Sekhar Azad shot himself. Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru had been hanged. The members of The Hindustan Socialist Republican Association dedicated their lives to the freedom struggle of India in a way that made the British scared of these revolutionaries.
