There are so many important temples and monuments such as Kailash temple , mountain which is in the shape of a chariot dedicated to lord Shiva and sculptures which are dedicated to the God and goddesses as well as mythologies found in Vaishnavism and Shaktism .
Caves one to twelve were especially dedicated to the Buddhists monuments. Eleven Buddhists caves out of twelve consist of monasteries with praying halls , multistore large buildings, viharas . One of the monasteries has shrines including the cravings of Gautama Buddha.
Hindu caves were constructed during the mid of sixth century to end of eighth century . Caves thirteen to twenty nine are dedicated to Hindu temples and monuments. And in these caves early caves were generally dedicated to Hindu god Shiva .
Cave thirty to thirty four dedicated to Jain monuments. These were constructed during the ninth and early tenth century. Those monuments are dedicated to lord Mahavira and lord Bahubali .
