Hint: The temperature of a room is generally measured in degrees celsius. We can convert one temperature scale into another scale by following the conversion formula. We will use the relation between celsius scale and Fahrenheit scale for finding temperature in Fahrenheit.
Formula Used:
\[^ \circ {\text{F = }}\left( {^ \circ C{\text{ }} \times {\text{ }}\dfrac{9}{5}} \right){\text{ + 32}}\]
Complete step by step answer:
The temperature of a room is generally measured in degrees Celsius while physicians use Fahrenheit scale to find body temperature of patients. The temperature which is measured on any is convertible into another scale by following some basic conversion rule. We can directly convert temperature in degree celsius into degree Fahrenheit by using the formula,
\[^ \circ {\text{F = }}\left( {^ \circ C{\text{ }} \times {\text{ }}\dfrac{9}{5}} \right){\text{ + 32}}\]
According to given question the room temperature is noted as \[27{{\text{ }}^ \circ }C\], thus on substituting the value of temperature we will find the temperature in degree Fahrenheit as,
\[^ \circ {\text{F = }}\left( {^ \circ C{\text{ }} \times {\text{ }}\dfrac{9}{5}} \right){\text{ + 32}}\]
\[\Rightarrow ^ \circ {\text{F = }}\left( {{\text{27 }} \times {\text{ }}\dfrac{9}{5}} \right){\text{ + 32}}\]
\[\Rightarrow ^ \circ {\text{F = }}\dfrac{{243}}{5}{\text{ + 32}}\]
\[\therefore ^ \circ {\text{F = 80}}{\text{.6}}\]
Hence the normal temperature of room which is \[27{{\text{ }}^ \circ }C\] in celsius scale is \[{\text{80}}{\text{.6}}{{\text{ }}^ \circ }{\text{F}}\] in Fahrenheit scale.
Additional information: By putting the degree celcius equals to zero we can observe that,
\[^ \circ {\text{F = }}\left( {0{\text{ }} \times {\text{ }}\dfrac{9}{5}} \right){\text{ + 32}}\]
\[\Rightarrow ^ \circ {\text{F = 32}}\]
It means that at zero degree celsius the temperature in Fahrenheit scale is already \[{\text{32}}{{\text{ }}^ \circ }{\text{F}}\] . Similarly we can find the celsius scale by putting Fahrenheit equals to zero. We cannot directly convert Fahrenheit scale into Kelvin scale. For this we have to convert Fahrenheit into Celsius first and then we can convert it into Kelvin scale.
Note: We can convert temperature in degree celsius into degree Fahrenheit and vice-versa by using the above mentioned formula. Also zero degree celsius is equal to \[{\text{32}}{{\text{ }}^ \circ }{\text{F}}\]. The room temperature is always measured in degrees celsius because the celsius scale is suitable for small readings of temperature.
