Hint:
The animal nervous is a communication network that carries messages to and from the brain and spinal cord to all the parts of the body with the help complex network of nerves. The nervous system is classified into the central nervous system (CNS), autonomic nervous system (ANS), and peripheral nervous system (PNS).

Complete step by step answer:
The ventricular system of the brain is accountable for the production of cerebrospinal fluid. This ventricular system is constituted of four interconnecting cavities called ventricles. The brain is covered with three membranes namely dura mater, arachnoid, and pia mater. The Pia mater is the inner innermost layer of the meninges. Pia mater in some parts of the ventricles forms invaginations. These invaginations are lined by a plexus of specialized cells that are responsible for the production of cerebrospinal fluid. The plexus of cells is known as the choroid plexus.
The choroid plexus up consists of a capillaries network and specialized cells known as ependymal cells. These ependymal cells project into four ventricles of the brain. The anterior choroid plexus is located on the roof of the diencephalon while the posterior choroid plexus presents on the roof of the medulla oblongata. Both of them produce cerebrospinal fluid and protect the brain from injury.
The diencephalon is centrally located within the brain sitting just above the brain stem. It is divided into four main structures thalamus, hypothalamus, epithalamus, and subthalamus. The cerebrum and diencephalon constitute the forebrain. The cavity of the developing diencephalon that later gives rise to the third ventricle of the brain is known as the diocoel.

Option ‘C’ is correct

Note:
Both sympathetic and parasympathetic innervation is received by the choroid plexus. The blood flow to the choroid plexus is controlled by sympathetic fibers from the superior cervical ganglion. Cerebrospinal fluid production is reduced by parasympathetic fibers.
