Hint: When the isomer of isobutene gets connected or attached to the central carbon than it is called tert butyl. As it connected to the central carbon so both are the 1,1 position that is why it is called 1,1 dimethylethyl.

Complete step-by-step answer:
In organic chemistry, butyl is basically the substituent group containing four carbon. They are basically derived from butane.
When we talk about butane then it is basically the n- butane which further give rise to two butyl groups.
When we talk about two butyls then amongst them the first one is n- butyl or we can say the normal butyl. In this the isomer of n- butane connects at one of the two terminals of carbon atoms.
Then we will talk about the second one , in this one the isomer connects at one of the non terminal or we can say the internal atoms then it is called the secondary butyl or the sec- butyl.
When further study about butane we come across the second isomer of butane which we can call it as the isobutene.
Then there is one more interesting thing which is that the further connection of this isobutane can give rise to the further two more isomers which are namely the isobutyl and other one is tert butyl.
When the isomers connect at one of the terminals of the three terminal carbons, then it is called the isobutyl one. When the isomer of isobutene connects to the central carbon then it is called tertiary carbon. Also tertiary carbon is called 1,1 dimethylethyl.

Note: When this tert butyl is used to make the reaction progress then it is called tert butyl effect. Hence option “A” is correct. connection of this isobutane can give rise to the further two more isomers which are namely the isobutyl and other one is tert butyl.
