Hint: An ecosystem is the basic structural and functional unit of nature. In an ecosystem, living organisms interact among themselves and with other physical abiotic factors. The other abiotic factors are water, soil, temperature, etc.

Complete step by step answer:An ecosystem consists of both living and nonliving things. Nonliving components of the ecosystem are called abiotic components, and the living components are called biotic components. Biotic components include plants, animals, and other living organisms. Meanwhile, abiotic components include non living things like soil, water, and air.
-Each and every organism in an ecosystem lives in constant interaction with both biotic components and abiotic components, and every organism has a role to play in the smooth and efficient functioning of an ecosystem. But sometimes due to certain factors, this balance is disrupted. And the ecosystem is destroyed.
-In order to maintain ecological balance we first have to protect the natural resources. Disruption of the natural resources and or exploitation by the organisms must be prevented. Uncontrolled use of chemical fertilizers kills microbes that are present in soil and disrupts processes like humification and mineralisation.
-So, we have to reduce the usage of chemical fertilizers and use more organic fertilizers. We have to Limit human intervention in natural ecosystems and we should leave the natural habitats of organisms as they are.
-We have to limit the uncontrolled growth of invasive organisms in an area that may disrupt the food chain. We have to limit the expulsion of toxic chemicals to the environment which leads to biomagnification and disruption of ecosystems.
