Hint: Solar energy is the renewable and non-conventional source of energy which we get from the Sun. It is free of cost and does not cause any pollution.
Complete Step by Step Answer: Solar energy unravels the energy crisis in India to some extent because:
-India lies in the tropical region where the sun moves exactly above this region. Due to this, it accounts for a large amount of solar energy and is used for several purposes.
-Solar energy is an important substitute like wind energy.
-The government should inform the people for utmost use of solar energy and also provide incentives for putting up solar panels.
-The use of solar energy can minimize the dependence of rural families on firewood and dung cakes which results in a lot of pollution and is detrimental for the lungs.
-Use of Solar Energy will decrease the burden on conventional sources of energy.
By this way, solar energy can solve the energy problem to some extent in India.
Note: The Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission also called National Solar Mission is one of the eight key National Mission's including India's NAPCC which has established the ambitious target of deploying 20,000 MW of grid-connected solar power by 2022, which was modified to 1,00,000 MW by 2022 during June 2015. The Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES) gives a financial incentive for individuals and businesses to establish small-scale renewable energy systems such as rooftop solar, solar water heaters and heat pumps.
