Complete answer: Reinhard Tristan Eugen Heydrich was born on 7 March 1904. During the Nazi era, Heydrich was a reputed German SS and a police officer and he is considered as one of the architects of the Holocaust.
The Reich Main Security Office worked under his leadership. He was later made the President of the International Criminal Police Commission (ICPC) later came to be known as Interpol. In January 1942, he also chaired the Wannsee Conference.
Reinhard Heydrich, among historians, was regarded as the darkest figure within the Nazi regime. He was described as the man with the iron heart by Adolf Hitler. Sicherheitsdienst was founded by him which was an intelligence organization and the major purpose of the organization was to balance the resistance to the Nazi Party through killings, deportations, and detentions.
He had a major role in organizing attacks against Jews all over Germany and Austria in November 1938, this event is called Kristallnacht.
In Operation Anthropoid that took place in Prague on 27 May 1942, Reinhard was critically injured. A team of Czech and Slovak soldiers attacked him and this was a plan made by the Czechoslovak government-in-exile to kill the Reich commander. The British Special Operations Executive trained the team.

Thus the correct option is C.

Note: After Operation Anthropoid, the deputy protector of Bohemia and Moravia, Reinhard Heydrich, died from his injuries. But the Nazi intelligence denied falsely associated the incident in connection to the villages of Lidice and Lezaky.
