Step by step answer:Recycling is a process by which substances are disposed of in a specific manner that they can be further used to make other useful substances necessary for our day to day life.
For an efficient recycling process, we must understand that a proper collection of substances is necessary. It goes without saying that all materials cannot be recycled at present. So we have to differentiate materials that can be recycled from others. We face a serious issue in the process of management of solid wastes. Huge landfills are needed for the disposal of solid waste and it is where recycling is the most useful. We can reduce the amount of waste produced per day by efficient use of recycling materials. Know that apart from the waste problem, it has other advantages too. Recycling consumes less energy to make new products than making products from raw materials. Also, it provides jobs to lots of people. It helps us to conserve our resources too. Recycling is a component of three R’s. They are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The term reduces means decreasing the purchase of unwanted substances so that we can reduce the amount of waste formed. By the term reuse, it is meant that we ensure maximum utilization of all products before turning them into waste. Glass, metals, plastic are some of the substances that can be easily recycled.

Note: Recycling substances/material wherever possible as it helps to protect the environment and natural resources. It reduces air, water, and soil pollution and also reduces the emission of harmful gases that are responsible for global warming.
