4. Indian National Congress (INC) – INC was founded in 1885and is one of the two major political parties in India. It was structured hierarchically by Mahatma Gandhi when he was the party president in1921.
Other recognized national parties of India are the Communist Party Of India (CPI), Communist Party of India (Marxist), National People’s Party (NPP), and the National Congress Party (NCP).
