Hint:- Alexander Fleming was the first scientist to experimentally discover the Penicillium mould secretes an antibacterial substance. He was the first to evaluate the effective entity secrete by penicillium, which he called penicillin in 1928. Penicillium ( a fungus that kills many bacteria) secondary metabolite of a particular variety of penicillium, generated when the development of the fungus is impeded.

Complete Answer:-
Antibiotics being discovered were naturally developed antibiotics and were either produced by fungi, such as the antibiotic penicillin, or by soil bacteria, which can generate antibiotics comprising streptomycin and tetracycline, in the earlier years of antibiotic discovery.
The early drugs to be beneficial against several bacterial diseases were the penicillin antibiotics. Antiseptic is defined as a chemical agent that hinders or halts the development of micro-organisms on outer surfaces of the body and enables it to restrict diseases while Antibiotics destroy microorganisms inside the body. Hence antiseptic commonly known as a skin disinfectant.
Antibodies are defined as the proteins generated in response to certain antigen and combine with the invading bacteria, viruses and foreign entities in the blood. and label the invader for destruction. Antiserum is defined as the serum comprising the antibody against particular antigens.

So, the correct option is A i.e. Antibiotic.

Note:- In the year 1940s, Penicillin came to be the initial mass-produced antibiotic. More than a million of lives have since conserved by the antibiotic, but their potency against bacterial diseases is decreasing, because of the extensive overuse directing to potentially destructive antimicrobial resistance.
