Hint: The pancreas is a compound gland that means both endocrine and exocrine gland. The exocrine portion secretes an alkaline pancreatic juice containing enzymes . And the endocrine portion secretes hormones insulin and glucagon . Insulin and glucagon are used for maintaining normal blood sugar level .
