(i) Bhilai is a city in the district of Durg, Chhattisgarh, in eastern central India with an urban population of 1,064,077. - It is the second largest urban area after Raipur in the state of Chhattisgarh.
-Bhilai is an important industrial city in India as well as an education center of central India.
- Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has won the Prime Minister's Trophy for best integrated steel plant in the country for 11 times.
-Bhilai Steel Plant is the flagship plant of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), providing the largest percentage of profit.

(ii) Chittaranjan is in the Paschim Bardhaman district in the state of West Bengal, India.
- It is popularly known for the Chittaranjan Locomotive Works.
- At present, Chittaranjan is the largest maker of electric locomotives and makes the biggest unit of the Indian Railways.
