Uttar Pradesh is an Indian state located in Northern India. The state was created on 1st April 1937. The state was formed as the United provinces of Agra and Oudh. The state was renamed in 1950 as “ Uttar Pradesh”. The state has a total of 18 divisions. The two most important rivers that flow in the state are Ganges and Yamuna. The Uttarakhand state was separated from this state on 9 November 2000. The state is bordered by multiple states such as Haryana, Himachal, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Nepal, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Chattisgarh. It is the fourth-largest state by area in India and the fifth largest Indian state by the economy.
