Electromagnetic waves are in groups which form the electromagnetic spectrum in common properties. Electromagnetic waves are also called transverse waves which can be travelled in vacuum also. These waves not only travel in air but also travel in vacuum space also; this will be proved that the waves are radio from the light.

Here the length of the electromagnetic waves is $10\,mm$ to ${10^{ - 3}}\,mm$ is called radio waves. Radio waves are generated and propagated by radio transmitters. These waves are then received by a radio receiver (tuned to a particular frequency/wavelength using a radio antenna) which then converts these into mechanical waves which are played through radios and different sounds. Uses of electromagnetic waves are the formation of astronomical objects and it is used in diagnostic tools in medicine.
