1. Democracy improves the quality of decision making- democracy is based on consultation and discussion. Democratic solutions always involve a large number of people, discussions, and meetings.
2. Democracy offers a method for dealing with differences and conflicts- every society has an obligation to have differences of opinion and interest. This difference is particularly acute in a country like ours, which has an astonishing social diversity.
