We have to know that the process has different names for the conversion of one form of matter to the other. When a liquid phase is converted into a gaseous phase this process is known as evaporation or it can also be called vaporization. If conditions allow the formation of vapor bubbles within a liquid, the vaporization process is called boiling. When a solid phase changes to vapor phase directly without being converted into liquid first, it is known as sublimation, that is the process where solid directly converts into vapor. For example: Naphthalene balls vaporize themselves after a time if kept out which is initially in a solid state. Now when a gas turns into liquid that is reversible of evaporation or vaporization is called condensation. Condensation is crucial to the water cycle because it is responsible for the formation of clouds.
