Hint: We know that we use some properties to show the triangles are congruent. And once the triangles are shown congruent their respective sides and angles can be treated congruent. So let’s define what is c.p.c.t!
Complete step-by-step answer:
In geometry, two figures or objects are congruent if they have the same shape and size, or if one has the same shape and size as the mirror image of the other
We will use the way we generally write the congruence.
If \[\vartriangle ABC\& \vartriangle PQR\]
If these two triangles are congruent by any test, then we can say that the parts of a triangle that is the three sides and the three angles are said to be congruent such that;
\[AB \cong PQ,BC \cong QR,CA \cong RP\]
\[\angle A \cong P,B \cong Q,C \cong R\]
These six elements are said to be the corresponding parts of the congruent triangle.
Note: For two triangles two be congruent, we use
I.SSS test (side-side-side)
II.SAS test (side-angle-side) that is two sides and included angle
III.ASA test (angle-side-angle) that is two angles and included side
IV.AA test (angle-angle)
