Hint: Nephron is the filtration unit of the kidney. It contains glomerulus, bowman’s capsule, Distal convoluted tubule, henle’s loop, proximal convoluted tubule and collecting duct. The filtration occurs in the starting part of the nephron, while the collecting duct collects the waste and transports it to the urinary bladder.

Complete answer:
Kidney is the excretory organ the humans. It contains million of filtering units called as nephrons. Glomerulus and tubule. The processing of the nephrons occur in two steps: the glomerulus filters the blood, the tubule returns needed substances to the blood and removes waste. Four main mechanisms occurring in nephrons are: Filtration, reabsorption, secretion, and excretion. Nephron has mainly two units: a renal corpuscle and a renal tubule. A renal corpuscle mainly consists of mainly two units: Glomerulus and Bowman's capsule. The filtering capillaries are present at the vascular pole of the renal corpuscle and Bowman's capsule. It is also called renal ultrafiltration. The pressure exerts on the glomerulus pushes the filtrate out of the capillaries and into the slits in the nephron. This structure is also called as malpighian capsules.
In nephron, a long loop of henle penetrates deeply into the renal medulla. They allow the generation of concentrated urine.

The collected duct is the end of the nephron, it then transfers the urine in the ureter which transports the urine. Urinary bladder attached to the ureter stores the urine for the ejaculation from the body.
From the above discussion we have found that (a) ultrafiltration occurs in the malpighian capsule. (b) Concentration of urine found in henle’s loop (c) transport of urine occurs by the ureter and (d) storage of urine occurs in the urinary bladder.

Hence, the correct answer is option (D).

Note: During the filtration of numerous substances in the nephron, the structure and function of the epithelial cells present in the lining get changed. Malfunctioning of the nephron can cause various glomerular diseases or nephron related diseases. There are two types of nephrons in the kidney: cortical nephron and juxtamedullary nephrons.
