Hint:To solve this question, first we have to know about the relation between density, mass and volume which is density $ = \dfrac{{mass}}{{volume}}$ after knowing this we can put the values of given quantities and arrive at the solution.

Complete step by step answer:
Let the density of the oil is ${\rho _\ell },$ mass is m and volume is v respectively. It is given that $m = 11040\,\,kg$ and $V = 12\,\,{m^3}$ so the density of the oil is given by
${P_L} = \dfrac{M}{V}$
Putting the values of M and V into the equation …….(i)
Hence, ${P_L} = \dfrac{M}{V}$
Or ${P_L} = \dfrac{{11040}}{{12}}$
Or, ${P_L} = 920\,\,kg\,/{m^3}$
Hence, option (B) is correct.

Additional Information:
 1. An object from a comparatively dense material such as iron will have less volume than an object of equal mass made from some less dense substance such as water.
2. The SI unit of density is kilogram per cubic meter i.e. $kg/{m^3}$.
3. The Gaussian unit of density is in gram per cubic centimeter $\left( {1gm/c{m^3}} \right).$Also one gram per cubic centimeter $\left( {1gm/c{m^3}} \right) = $one gram per milliliter$\left( {1gm/ml} \right)$.

Note:The density is the measurement of mass per unit volume. The average density of an object is equal to its total mass divided by its total volume.
