2) Parietal lobe- It has the sensory association area that is associated with memory, learning and reasoning. The sensory speech area is also situated in the lower part of the parietal lobe that extends in the temporal lobe. It perceives the spoken word.
3) Occipital lobe- It is responsible for the perception and association of the visual stimulus and is hence entirely responsible for vision.
4) Temporal lobe- It has the Wernicke’s area or the auditory association area which is responsible for the association of auditory stimulus. This lobe is responsible for decoding and interpretation of sound, smell, memory and emotions.
