Hint: The household electrical circuit is the circuit that is wired into the house by an electrician, with the wires coming in from the power lines outside and are connected to a fuse and meter.

Complete answer:
Miniature Circuit Breaker: In short form, it is called MCB. Nowadays instead of a fuse, we are using the Miniature Circuit Breaker in a low voltage electrical circuit. MCB switches off the electrical circuit during abnormal conditions like overload condition, faulty condition. Whenever the flow of current exceeds the set value, then the automatic switches open and protect the circuits from the excess current.
Advantages of MCB:
1. These are more sensitive than a fuse to current.
2. To resume the supply is very simple with MCB.
3. Handling is also safer compared to fuse.
Thus in a household electrical circuit, Miniature Circuit Breaker is connected in series with the mainline.
Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker: In short form. It is called ELCB. It is a device that is used in electrical installations with a high Earth impedance to prevent shock. It can detect the small stray voltages on the metal enclosures of the equipment and if a very high voltage is detected, ELCB interrupts the circuit and thus protects it.
It is a device that is used to directly detect the currents that are leaking to the earth from an installation and thus cut the power.

Note: The main function of the circuit breaker is that it stops the electrical flow whenever it detects any abnormal condition like overloading or short between any of the conductors.
