Hint: Electronegativity is defined as the tendency of an atom to attract a bonding pair of electrons. Pauling is the scale to measure electronegativity. For example: fluorine is the most electronegative element and cesium is the least electronegative element.

Complete step by step answer:
First of all we will talk about bonds.
Bonds: In molecules atoms are linked together by bonds. Bonds are of many types, for example:
Ionic bond: The bond in the molecules which is formed by give and take of electrons i.e. one atom gives the electron and other atoms take the electron.
Electronegativity is defined as the tendency of an atom to attract a bonding pair of electrons.
The atom which has high electronegativity will take the electrons and the atom which has low electronegativity will lose the electrons.
Covalent bonds: The bond in the molecules in which the atoms share their electrons to each other. There are two types of covalent bonds: polar covalent bond and nonpolar covalent bond.
Polar covalent bond: The covalent bonds in which the electronegativity difference of the two atoms is more i.e. one atom can attract the electron of another atom, are known as polar covalent bonds.
Non-polar covalent bond: The covalent bonds in which the electronegativity difference of the two atoms is less i.e. one atom cannot attract the electron of another atom, are known as non-polar covalent bonds.
London dispersion bonds: This bond is the weakest bond. This is temporary. This bond is formed when the atoms attain some polarity in the molecule, then London disperses are formed between those induced dipoles.
Pauling is the scale to measure electronegativity. If the electronegativity difference between the atoms is less than $1.7$ then the molecule will form covalent bonds otherwise it will form ionic bonds. Here in the question electronegativity difference in the two atoms is given as two so the molecule form will contain ionic bonds.

So, the correct answer is Option B .

Note:
Higher the electronegativity difference between the atoms of the molecules the higher polar will be the molecule and lesser the electronegativity difference between the atoms of the molecules the lesser polar will be the molecule.
