That will be 12 , 14 , 21 , 34 , 15 .
Find the maximum of all these frequencies given in the question.
That will be 34 .
Now find the class interval that is the farm which is related to the maximum frequency.
That will be 50 – 60
Which implies the maximum number of animals are in 50 – 60 farms as per the given information.
We know that the modal class is the class with the highest frequency ( which is 34 in this question )
So the modal class in this question will be 50 – 60.
Note:
We can find modal classes only for group data. It is used mainly to find the median of the given information.
