Hint: Both gymnosperms and angiosperm fall under phanerogams because they produce seed. But the difference lies in presence or absence of covered seeds.

Complete answer:
Plants are divided into two groups, the angiosperms and the gymnosperms. Angiosperms are referred to as the groups of flowering plants and are most diverse. The angiosperms produce seed coated with a nutritive tissue and seed coat. The gymnosperms bear naked seeds, that is, their seeds are not enclosed in a fruit which remains exposed on the surface of megasporophylls. But the angiosperms have enclosed seeds which means the seeds develop into fruit. Both gymnosperms and angiosperms bear seeds but seed coat is present only in angiosperms. Among them, only the angiosperms can bear flowers.

Hence, the option a) Gymnosperms have naked seed but angiosperms have seed coats, is correct.

Additional information:
Other differences between gymnosperms and angiosperms are as follows- there is the presence of archegonia in case of gymnosperms but are absent in angiosperms; the size of microgametophytes are somewhat big compared to the size of that of angiosperms; the angiosperms are able to undergo double fertilization while the gymnosperms cannot undergo double fertilization.

Note: The gymnosperms do not produce fruits, but in place of fruits, seeds are produced and are naked and exposed. The seeds are in the form of cones. The angiosperms on the other hand, produce fruits. So, the only difference on the basis of seed production is that gymnosperms bear naked seeds without any covering while the seeds are covered by seed coat and ovary develops into fruits in the case of angiosperms. The gymnosperms and angiosperms both bear leaves but their shape and nature may differ.
