Hint: The Golden Horde was the European extent (western part) of the vast Mongol Empire. It is dated from 1206 CE and lasted till 1368 CE. The territories that constituted the Golden Horde included Central Asia, Most parts of Russia and the Eastern Europe. The people of Golden Horde were generally Turkish and Mongols.

Complete answer: The Golden Horde territory had flourished from Carpathian Mountains to in the Eastern Europe to steppes in Siberia and Black Sea in the south to Caucasus Mountains, till the Iranian region.

This region became important to the Mongols not only from the glory of conquests it carried, especially during the reign of Batu Khan, but also the trade with the Mediterranean and the Mamluk Egyptians. Many Mongolian tribes also settled in the steppes and practiced agriculture.

The region became an expanse of resource and wealth for the Mongols. Throughout their raids, this remained the most important of Khanates. Gradually by the 15th century, the khanates started to break into smaller Islamic and Russian feudalism and the local tribute set-ups started to break away.

Note: The Black Death was a pandemic that struck Europe in the late 14th century. This pandemic caused a disproportionate amount of deaths in Europe and also started to mark the decline of the Mongolian Empire from the European region. Post this, the previous glory of the Mongols was never revived.
