Hint: Global warming is one of the key factors in climate change. It is basically causing rise in temperature of earth’s surface then its average temperature.
Complete answer:
Global warming is a phenomenon, related to the rise in temperature of earth’s surface then that of its average temperature. Global warming is generally caused by increased greenhouse effects that include pollutant gases like carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, water vapor, methane, nitrous oxide and many other harmful gases and several human activities like deforestation, burning of fossil fuels and farming.
Generally, when the radiation from the sun enters earth’s atmosphere 90% of harmful rays are reflected by the gases present in the atmosphere. But due to rise in the pollution level at atmospheric level, the harmful rays are being absorbed by greenhouse gases, helping to manage cross the blanket layer and results in rising of surface temperature.
The consequences of global warming can be seen as in depletion of glaciers and snow, rise in sea level, drought, disturbance in the weather cycle, heavy rainfall, etc., which could lead to adverse conditions to maintain life cycle on earth.
Thus, it's much required that the measures have to be taken by everyone, to prevent global warming. Some of them are:
> Recycling more and wasting less.
> By planting more and more trees.
> By switching to renewable sources of energy.
> Using the energy-efficient devices.
> By spreading awareness.
> Conserve more and more the non-renewable sources of energy.
Note: Global warming results in the EL Nino effect. It is the periodic change which occurs after every 5 to 8 years in the Pacific oceans that results in the killing of fishes and other biota in the oceans.
