This hormone is usually released when we are angry, stressed, or feel fear. These conditions make our body tense and the tension needs to be eased out which is done by this hormone.

This hormone responds only in emergencies or flight and fight conditions. Adrenaline is produced in the medulla region of the central nervous system. This hormone triggers the fight and flight response in the body. In such conditions, the air passage dilates to provide more oxygen to the lungs. The blood vessels contract and blood are made to flow more towards the lungs and heart. It also nullifies the pain felt by the body and increases the senses in such conditions.
