Hint:The Bahmani Sultanate was a Persian Empire in South India. It was the first independent Muslim kingdom of the Deccan. Spanning from (1347-1526 A.D.), it was one of the major Indian medieval kingdoms. Under the empire, numerous mosques such as th Juma Masjid at Gulbarga, the Golconda Fort and The Golgumbaz at Bijapur and Madrasas of Muhammad Gawan were built.

Complete answer:
The Bahmani Empire was founded in 1347 by Hasana Gangu who was a Turkish officer in Devagiri. The kingdom of Hasan stretched from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal, including the whole of Deccan up to the river Krishna with its capital at Gulbarga.
It was one of the greatest kingdoms of medieval Indian and founded as a revolt against Muhammad bin Tughlaq of the Delhi. It’s success led to the establishment of an independent Deccan state with parts of the current day’s Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh which were within the territory of Delhi Sultanate.
The Sultans followed a feudal type of administration. The kingdom was divided into various tarafs/provinces. The governor of each province was called Tarafdar of Amir. There was a lot of emphasis on education, particularly that of Arabic, Persian and Urdu.Bahmani Kings patronized Hazrat Banda Nawaz (1321-1422 AD) the great Sufi saint who founded the Madrassa.
They got many forts rebuilt as per the requirements of the military such as covered passages and bastions. Forts were built at strategic locations such as Gulbarga, Daulatabad, Gawilgarh, Narnala, Parenda, Raichur etc. Overall, this period marked rivalry with Vijayanagara, and attempts to maintain the Empire.

Hence, the correct answer is option (B).

Note:After Muhammad Shah III, the empire was led to a decline. This was because of weak successors and constant wars with the Vijayanagara Empire. In addition to that, there also existed a rivalry between Bahamani rulers and foreign nobles. Muhammad Shah III died in 1482 and his successors disintegrated the kingdom into five parts- Bijapur, Ahmednagar, Bera, Golconda and Bidar.
