Hint: To find the multiplicative inverse of any number we divide 1 from the given number. By this we can get the required solution.
Complete step-by-step answer:
If we have a number “a” then it’s multiplicative inverse is 1/a.
We can also say the multiplicative inverse of a is the reciprocal of that number a i.e. 1/a
Multiplicative inverse of $3=\dfrac{1}{3}$ .
Multiplicative inverse of $-7=\dfrac{1}{-7}$
Note : The product of a number and its multiplicative inverse is unity. So by doing this also we can get the solution of this question.
$\text{a}\cdot \dfrac{1}{\text{a}}=1$
Eg: $3\cdot \dfrac{1}{3}=1$
