Hint: In this question, we need to find the square value of \[5\] .\[5^{2}\] means five squared. The product of some integer with itself is known as squaring a number.Squaring a number is nothing but multiplying two times the given number . Here we need to multiply the number \[5\] two times.

Complete answer:Given, \[5^{2}\]
We need to find the value of \[5^{2}\]
We know that : \[m^{2} = m \times m\]
By rewriting,
We get,
\[5^{2} = 5 \times 5\]
On multiplying , we get
\[5^{2} = 25\]
Thus we get \[5^{2} = 25\]
Final answer :
The value of \[5^{2} = 25\].]

Additional information :
We all know that square numbers are non-negative real numbers. When we square the negative numbers, the result will be a positive number. For example, the square of \[-4\] is \[16\].

Note:
The usual notation for the square of number \[n\] is \[n^{2}\] .It is denoted by a superscript \[2\]. Mathematically, the square numbers are non – negative . The square of the integer is also known as the square number or a perfect square. For example \[3^{2} = 9\ \] is the perfect square . Every non-negative real number is a square number. Mathematically, squaring is used in statistics, probability , etc… In other words, all the non negative integers are square numbers.
