Hint: In this question we have to draw the shape of our mathematics textbook and after that we have to identify the shape of the book. We should check if the shape of the book is rectangle, or cuboid or cube or prism. So we will first roughly draw the shape of the book and then we identify it.

Complete step by step solution:
Let us first draw a diagrammatic figure that represents the mathematics textbook:

In the above figure we can see that the above figure somewhat represents the book, if the book is kept on stand.
Now we can see that the shape is somehow similar to a cuboid.
We know that a cuboid is a three dimensional figure that has six faces, eight vertices and twelve edges. If we will visualize carefully we can see that the above figure of the book is similar to the diagram of cuboid.
The diagram of cuboid is given below:

We can see that all the faces are cuboid and the shape of the book is rectangular in shape. We should know that a cuboid is also called a rectangular prism.
Similar to cuboid, it is a three dimensional shape with
6 faces,
12 sides and
8 vertices.
Hence we can say that the shape of a book is generally cuboids and cuboids look like rectangular prisms.

Note: We should note that a rectangular prism also has 3 dimensions i.e. length, width and height. Since all the faces of a rectangular prism are rectangles and opposite faces are equal,
we can calculate the surface area of a rectangular prism by the formula:
2(b×h)+(l×h)+(b×h) , where l,b,h are length, breadth and height respectively.
