- To protect our house from mosquitoes, it is very important to stop them from entering. Make sure that the doors and windows are either closed or at least they are covered with net to prohibit them from entering.
- Radio frequency turns out to be very unpleasant for bugs, mosquitoes and mice. Therefore certain affordable ultrasonic devices emitting radio waves can act as repellent if the mosquitoes enter in.
- Camphor oil and holy basil leaves can also act as mosquito repellent. Keeping or burning camphor in a closed room can help get rid of all the mosquitoes and the plant of tulsi potted in the home can keep mosquitoes away.
- Mosquitoes are attracted towards carbon dioxide also called dry ice. When we exhale, we release carbon dioxide which attracts mosquitoes to us. Therefore keeping a dry ice jar in the room can attract mosquitoes towards it and they can get trapped in it.
- If mosquitoes enter our home, then we can trap them by using a mosquito trap or while at night we can sleep in a mosquito net so as to protect us from biting. If bitten, basil leaves can help to heal mosquito bite.
