Hint: Mitosis and meiosis are the types of cell division in the human body which helps in the growth and development of the organism and also for the formation of gametes for fertilization.

Mitosis is defined as the process in which the cell is divided into daughter cell with similar Karyotype that is the number of chromosomes is same in daughter cell whereas in meiosis is the process in which the cell is divided into daughter cells, and the daughter cell doesn’t have the same number of chromosomes.
2. Two daughter cells are formed in mitotic division whereas the meiotic division results in the formation of four daughter cells.
3. Mitosis occurs in somatic cells whereas meiosis occurs in the germinal cells.
4. In the mitotic division, the number of chromosomes in the daughter cell has the same i.e., 46 as that of the mother cell whereas in the meiotic division the number of chromosomes in the daughter cells reduced to half i.e., 23 chromosomes that of the mother cell.
