Hint: Adolf Hitler was an Austrian born German Dictator from 1933-1945. He was the leader of the Nazi Party, a far-right political party with the ideology of Nazism. The Nazi regime was responsible for the genocide of 6 million Jews and others who he thought was socially undesirable.

Complete answer:
Between 1914 and 1918, the 1st World War took place. It was a global war fought between the Allies (French Empire, British Empire, Russian Empire, USA and others) and the Central Powers (German Empire, Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire). As the war drew to the end in 1918, Germans were exhausted from it. In contrast, the Britishers improved their inventory and the USA arrived to support the Allied powers. These were these factors that lead to the victory of the Allied Powers.

As Hitler got into power, he cancelled all payments for their debt in 1933. His refusal of payment was seen as a sense of patriotism and nationalism and gave the courage to the country of Germany after the humiliation of repayment. During the whole regime of Hitler, Germany made no payments.

Note: The London Debt Conference canceled half of Germany’s debt and gave them more time to repay their remaining debt. At the London Conference, West Germany argued that it shouldn’t be held accountable for all the debt the old Germany had during and after the 1st World War. It made its last payment on October 3, 2010 which was the 20th anniversary of reunification of Germany.
