In the given question, we have to state the composition of a Village Panchayat. A village panchayat or a gram panchayat is comprised the following way -
In India, a Village Panchayat or a Gram Panchayat is divided into wards.
Every wards’ citizens elect a representative who is known as that ward’s Ward Member, also referred to as Panch.
All the members, or Panchs of the Gram Sabha elect a Sarpanch who is the Panchayat President.
The Sarpanch and the Ward Panchs form the Village Panchayat / Gram Panchayat. The tenure of a Gram Panchayat is five years.
The Gram Panchayat and the Gram Sabha have one common secretary. He is a person appointed by the government and not an elected person. The secretary calls the meeting of the Sabha and Panchayat. He / she also keeps a record of the proceedings of the meeting.
