Hint- To solve this problem we will proceed with understanding the concept of what electrical potential is and then define 1 volt PD. Electrical potential difference is the difference in the amount of potential energy a particle has due to its position between two locations in an electric field.

Complete step-by-step solution -
Mathematically, the amount of work done in moving a unit charge from one point to another point is known as potential difference.
Thus the formula is
 \[V = \dfrac{W}{Q}\]
Where W is the amount of work done and Q is the amount of charge.
1 PD- 1 Volt (PD) is the potential difference between the two ends of the conductor when 1 J of work is done in moving 1 C of charge from end to another end of the conductor.

Electric Power- The rate at which the work is being done in an electrical circuit is called an electric power In other words, the rate of transmission of energy is known as electric power. The generator produces electricity which can also be supplied by the electric batteries. It provides a low entropy energy source that is carried over a long distance and is also translated into specific energy forms such as motion, heat, etc.

Note- Power is alternatively defined as the amount of work done per unit time while energy is defined as the energy generated by the movement of charges from one point to another point. The SI unit of power is called watts. Watt is named after the name of the inventor James watt who invented the steam engine. A Watt is the unit of power equal to one ampere under one volt load.
