Hint: In order to solve this problem we will use the conversion that 1 rupee is equal to 100 paise. Then we will calculate the number of paise for 90 Rs.
We have to convert 90 rupees into paise.
As we know, 1 rupee = 100 paise ……(1)
Then we will calculate the number of paise 90 rupees is equal to.
If 1 rupee is 100 paise, then 90 rupees will be equals to :
90 Rs = 90x100 paise = 9000 paise
Hence, the answer to this question is 9000 paise.
Note: Whenever we face such types of problems we will use the concept of conversion of units. Here we have converted rupees into paise as we know one rupees is equal to hundred paise then 90 rupees will be equal to 90 times hundred paise, that is 9000 paise. Using this will reach you to the right answer.
