Hint:
Since using the relation between the \[1kg=1000g\] that we have known the number of grams in unit kg then to calculate the grams in required kg we have to just multiply it with the multiplication factor which is the number of grams in unit kg.

Complete step by step solution:
As we already know that \[1\] kilogram is equal to \[1000\] grams
\[\Rightarrow 1kg=1000g\]
Now to convert grams into kilograms we will find the value of 1 gram in terms of kilogram
\[\Rightarrow 1g=\dfrac{1}{1000} \text{ Kg}\]
Let the quantity be \[x\] that we want to convert into kilograms
Using Unitary method that first calculate for unit value then for given value;
Since \[1 \text{ gram}\] has \[\dfrac{1}{1000} \text{ kilograms}\]
\[\Rightarrow x\text{ grams} =x \times \dfrac{1}{1000} \text{ Kilograms}\]

Hence, to convert the grams to kilograms we just need to multiply the given value in grams with \[\dfrac{1}{1000}\].

Note:
In these types of questions we use a unitary method that first calculates the unit conversion for the unit value than for the given required value by just multiplying with its multiplication factor which is the unity converter of that particular unit.
