Hint: Percentage of means out of hundred. If someone has x percentage of marks we can tell he scored x marks out of 100. To convert a number to fraction we can assume the denominator is 1. Then multiply the same number in both denominator and numerator.

Complete step by step answer:
Let’s convert 2.0 into percentage to do that let’s understand what percentage means from a score example
If we say x percentage that means x out of 100 and we if we say x percentage y that means if the score is x out of 100 then what is the score out of y
We can solve by writing
Score out of 100 = x
Score out of 1 = $\dfrac{x}{100}$
Score out of y = $\dfrac{x}{100}\times y$
So x percentage y means $\dfrac{x}{100}$ of y.
Generally x percentage means $\dfrac{x}{100}$
If we have to convert 2.0 to percentage let’s assume p percentage=2.0
So, $\dfrac{p}{100}=2.0$
Multiplying 100 in both LHS and RHS
$p=200$
So 2.0=200 percentage=200%
Let’s convert 2.0 into a fraction first assume the denominator is 1. So we can write
$2.0=\dfrac{2.0}{1}$
Then we can multiply same number in both denominator and numerator lets multiply 10
$\dfrac{2.0}{1}=\dfrac{2.0\times 10}{1\times 10}$
We can write $2.0=\dfrac{20}{10}$
We can multiply anything in both denominator and numerator
For example we can write $2.0=\dfrac{10}{5}=\dfrac{16}{8}=\dfrac{20}{2}$
This is how we can convert it into a fraction.

Note: The simplest ways to convert any number into percentage is to multiply the number with 100 for example $3=300\%$ , $4=400\%$ etc. To convert a decimal to fraction we can multiply 10 to the power number of digit after decimal point in both denominator and numerator so that the numerator will change into an integer.
