Hint: Acids are generally those substances which have pH value less than 7, turn blue litmus paper into red and have sour taste rather than these the main property of an acid it is capable of donating a proton and also we can say that it is capable of forming a covalent bond.
Complete answer:
Mineral acids are also known by the other name inorganic acids and it is defined as an acid derived from one or more inorganic compounds. Mostly all of the mineral acids form hydrogen ions and conjugate base when dissolved in water. Mineral acids range from superacids i.e. strong acids to very weak acids. These are soluble in water and insoluble in organic solvents.
The main example of mineral acid is hydrochloric acid. The main property of concentrated sulphuric acid is it is hygroscopic in nature which means it attracts water molecules immediately or it can easily absorb moisture when kept in air. As a result of this the concentration level of the acid will go down and it will start to become diluted. First main reason is this and second one is it is kept in such a condition for safety as we know that sulphuric acid is a very corrosive acid.
Therefore we can say that due to these reasons this acid kept in air tight bottles.
Note:
${{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}$ is known by the name sulphuric or sulfuric acid and also known as oil of vitriol. It is generally a mineral acid made up with the elements sulfur, oxygen and hydrogen which is represented by the formula given i.e. ${{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}$.
