Hint: He was a Turkish noble who was entitled to the life of a slave when he was a young boy.

Complete answer: Iltutmish was the real founder of the Slave dynasty and culture in Chalisa, Turk-i-Chahalghani. He was also the founder of the Chahalgani system. Under him worked a group of 40 nobles who played a major role in the administration of Delhi Sultanate. It was a selected body with a number of highly educated Turkish nobles.
He was sold into slavery when he was a young boy and Iltutmish spent most of his early life in Bukhara and Ghazni under various masters. In the late 1190s, the famous Ghurid slave-commander Qutb al-Din Aibak purchased him in Delhi to make him the slave of one of his slaves. Iltutmish rose to prominence and power in the service of Qutb al-Din Aibak, and after that, he was granted the most important iqta of Badaun situated in the Indian territory. He was commended for his military actions against the Khokhar rebels in 1205 after which he gained the attention of the Ghurid Emperor, Sultan Mu'izz ad-Din, who decided to manumit him even before his master Aibak ever could.

Therefore, option A is the correct answer.
