Hint: In such types of questions we have to apply the relation between power, voltage and current so that the required value is identified. Using the formula for current we have to consider the proper format of the unit and their conversion in the formula. Power is always expressed in Joule/sec for use in formulas.

Complete step-by-step solution:
Since Power rating mentioned on any electric appliances gives the information about the consumption of electric energy by it and at which voltage it is operated , if the value of applied voltage is less than that of mentioned value on the appliance then that appliance will not work. In India Operating voltage for any appliance is 220V.
Power mentioned on any device gives the information that energy consumed by that device in Joule/sec.
If Power mentioned is 2KW then it means that 2000 Joule electric energy is consumed by that appliance in one Second.
Here in this question it is given that:-
Power=2KW
Let us assume that power is represented by P,
So, we can write as,
P=2KW
Convert it from Kilowatt (KW) to Watt (W)
Since we know that,
1KW=1000W
So Power becomes,
P=2000W
Let us assume Voltage is V, so it is given in the question that
V=220volt
Since when power and voltage is given then we can calculate the current required to operate this electric geyser by using the relation.
P=VI
I=PV
Now put the value of P and V in above equation, we get
I=2000220
We get,
I=9.09A
SI unit of current is Ampere denoted by A.
So, Current required to operate this electric geyser is 9.09A.
So in this question 5A current is given which is not required to run this electric geyser.
So we can conclude that an electric geyser with power rating 2KW; 220V cannot be run on 5A line.

Note: Commercial unit of electric energy is Kilo-Watt-Hour. This KWH is used to calculate the electric energy consumed in our homes and by this Kwh .All electric bills are prepared in Kwh and 1 Kwh is always equal to 1 Unit consumption of electricity in homes and commercial purposes. Total number of units consumed will provide the amount of electric energy consumed in a month.
