Hint: The term humidity refers to the percentage share of water vapor in the atmosphere or in any amount of gas. It depends on a number of factors like temperature and pressure. The knowledge of the humidity level of a place lets us know the possibility of having fog, snow, or precipitation of any kind.

The humidity of a place is measured by an instrument called a hygrometer. This can control and maintain the humidity level of a place. The phenomenon of the control, maintenance, and control of humidity is known as Hygrometry.
For the purposes of measurement and regulation of humidity level, we generally implement three kinds of measurement practices.
These are absolute humidity, relative humidity, and specific humidity.
1. In absolute humidity, we measure the actual content of water in a certain amount of air. Absolute humidity is often expressed in terms of a gram per cubic meter or gram per kilometer.
2. When the measurement of humidity is taken in comparison with any other level of humidity. It is known as relative measurement. Relative humidity expresses the state of absolute humidity in comparison to the maximum humidity that can occur at a certain temperature. The relative humidity is often expressed in percentages
3. Apart from absolute and relative humidity, we have another kind of measurement called specific humidity. It can be defined as the ratio of the water vapor mass present in a certain amount of air to the other moist air mass content.

Note: The uses of both these measures - absolute humidity and relative humidity are different. The absolute measure is used to find the humidity level of a place whereas the relative measure is used to compare different humidity levels of different places.
