Hint: We need to know that the series of events leading to an independent Hyderabad started after India became independent from the British rule in $1947$. Doras was a name given to the landlords or “Zamindars” of Hyderabad. Most of the Doras of Hyderabad included Hindus who were given privileges from the Nizam. Razakar was a military organization led by Qasim Razvi to help the Nizam of the state.

Complete answer:
We have to remember that the Nizam is the name given to the monarch of Hyderabad, derived from- Nizam-ul-Mulk. The Nizams were the rulers of Hyderabad between the eighteenth to twentieth centuries.
As we know that India became independent in $1947$, like all the states, ruled by Prince or Kings, Hyderabad was asked if it wanted to merge with the Indian Union (or India) or Pakistan.
The Nizam of Hyderabad- Mir Sir Osman Ali Khan wanted neither and presented a wish to make the state an Independent country.
In November $29$, $1947$, Nizam finally agreed on a standstill agreement with India to maintain the status quo.
During the time, Qasim Rizvi, an Aligarh University Alumni, formed a military organization and named them “Razakars”. Razakars demanded special privileges from the Nizam which they started to misuse and Nizam had to abide by the demands.
Rizvi was the leader of MIM- Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen, founded by Mahmud Nawaz khan in $1926$.
Rizvi wanted the state- Hyderabad to merge with Pakistan and was pressurizing the Nizam to do the same. But after the declination of the merge of Hyderabad with Pakistan was announced due to the large distance, Rizvi stood against the idea of a merge of the state with India and even attended a meeting at Delhi with Sir Vallabhbhai Patel over the matter.
Razakars were now known to put away any obstacle coming in the way of Hyderabad becoming an Independent Country. Razakars were supported by Doras, called the Zamindars or landlords of Hyderabad as Razakars defended their interests and they were also given privileges by Nizam.
Razakars brutally killed many Hindus and Hindu sympathizers making them flee from the state to neighboring states or jungles.
Finally, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel took the “Action of Police” to stop the terror of Razakars which were under Nizam’s Rule.
Operation Polo was launched by the Indian Army to fight Razakars. The army invaded the state from five different directions and the war continued till Razakars surrendered on $18$ September, $1948$.
So, the correct answer is Option A.

Note: We must know that after the Prime Minister of Nizam and Qasim Rizvi was arrested after the war, Hyderabad was merged with Indian Union and Nizam took back the plea from the UN Security Council. The razakars were disbanded soon after the merge and Qasim was jailed for almost a decade after which he was released only on an undertaking that he will leave to Pak within forty- eight hours of release. He was granted asylum in Pakistan.
